You walked into the room and decided the introduction yourself, no waiting around for someone else to say it. Modesty was never really your strong suit anyway. You figured somebody had to say it out loud, so it might as well be you. Everyone waits around for someone else to hype them up first. You gave up waiting and just wrote your own review. Confidence looks a lot better than false humility.
